Food Processor Pizza Dough

quick, easy for 1 thick crust pizza or 2 thin crust

Food Processor Pizza Dough

(1 14” thick crust pizza or 2 12” thin crust pizza )

3 cups all purpose flour              1 package Rapid Rise yeast

¾ teaspoon salt                           ¾ cup to 1 cup warm water

2 Tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil  

      Add flour, yeast & salt to food processor bowl with dough blades.  Process 5 to 10 seconds to combine.  Add oil.  Begin processing, then slowly pour water through feed tube just until ball forms – about 10 to 15 seconds (all water may not be needed).   Continue processing 60 seconds to knead dough.  Carefully remove dough & blade from processor bowl.  Shape dough into ball.  Cover: let rest on floured surface 10 minutes.  Shape, top as desired.  Bake at 400 F for 20 to 30 minutes until brown on bottom & bubbly on top.
