Mountain Dew Rolls 1 pkg crescent rolls 1 Granny Smith Apple ½ stick butter ½ cup sugar ½ can mountain dew Cinnamon Peel the apple and slice; making one slice for each roll. Melt the butter and add the sugar. Unroll the crescent rolls and spread the butter and sugar on each one (use it all). Place one slice apple on each roll. Re-roll and sprinkle heavily with cinnamon. Pour the Mountain Dew over the dessert. Bake at 350° for 20 to 30 minutes or until desired brownness. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream. Substitute ½ cup Splenda for the ½ cup sugar. |
