Orange Glazed Pecans

Glazed Pecan & Orange Peel

  2 cups sugar

1 1/2 cup half & half

1 quart pecans

8 Orange halves, julienne sliced

  Peel orange.   Just use peeling.   Scrap white off inside of peeling & discard white.  Slice peel julienne style.

 

Bring ingredients to a soft boil stage. Add pecan halves.  Drop on  greased platter & break apart, when cool. 

  

This recipe was given to mamma by her friend, Doris Glenn.  They made this together at Christmas time for gifts.
