Jean Williamson’s Quick Yeast Rolls

1 envelope yeast                ½ cup warm water

1 egg, beaten                     ¼ cup oil

2 Tablespoons sugar         ½ cup hot water

3 ½ cup self rising flour

-Dissolve yeast in warm water.  Set aside.

-Mix egg, oil, sugar, & water together

-Add yeast mix to liquids above

-Work in enough flour to make a manageable dough

--Roll out and cut or shape rolls as desired – Fix these first, then do rest of meal preparation.  They don’t really have to rise but a few minutes helps them be really light and fluffy.

- Bake on greased cookie sheet at 450 F for about 10 minutes until lightly browned
